The Seattle University baseball program is sponsoring its third annual Summer All-Skills Camp Series, to take place on two separate weeks: June 25-29 and July 9-13.
Campers ages 5-12 will learn proper throwing and hitting mechanics, fielding techniques, and how to efficiently run the bases in both instructional and game settings. The goal is for the campers to have plenty of fun while learning new and advanced skills for their age group.
Participants are asked to bring a glove, a bat, a snack, lunch, water, and sunscreen. Campers should wear tennis shoes and either sweatpants, shorts, or baseball pants. The first four days of each week's camp will take place in the Connolly Center AstroGym, with the fifth day being held at Garfield High School. The sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, with the camps being split into two age groups: ages 5-8 and ages 9-12.
Interested participants can sign up for the full week, which costs $350 per person, or on a day-by-day basis at $85 per day per person. To register for the full week, visit the Camps section of GoSeattleU.com. For more information or to register for individual days please contact Donegal Fergus at fergusd@seattleu.edu or 360-751-3783.
