The Seattle University women's golf team played the second round of Wyoming Cowgirl Classic Tuesday, ending the day tied for 13th at the Ocotillo Golf Resort in Chandler, Ariz.
Lori Pearson (Seattle, Wash.) carded the low round of the day for the Redhawks, shooting 77 (+5) on the 72-par course. She enters Wednesday's final round in a tie for 38th with a two-day score of 152 (+8). Caitlin McCleary (The Dalles, Ore.) took one more stroke on the day, closing out with a 78 (+6). When combined with her first round even-par 72, however, her score puts her at 150 (+6) for the tournament and tied for 22nd.
Shannon Quinn (Shoreline, Wash.) took 79 strokes (+7) Tuesday, entering her into a tie for 68th with an overall score of 156 (+12). Nicole Gaddie (Salt Lake City, Utah) fired 81 (+9) for the second straight day, while Monica Keo (Oahu, Hawaii) experienced a tough day on the course, shooting 84 (+12) to wind up in a tie for 83rd.
As a team, Seattle U is tied for 13th with three other schools at 613 (+37). Colorado State (+8) has the team lead, while Brianna Espinoza of Colorado State leads all individuals with a two-day total of 136 (-8).
The final round of the Cowgirl Classic tees off at 5:30 a.m. Pacific time Wednesday, April 11, again at Ocotillo Golf Resort.
