The Women's Basketball Invitational tournament has announced the All-Tournament team and sophomore Kacie Sowell (Ventura, Calif.) represents Seattle University on the team.

Sowell started all three WBI games for the Redhawks, averaging 28.0 minutes per game over the tournament. She led the team with 41 rebounds and averaged a double-double in tournament games (15.3 ppg and 13.7 rpg). She shot 66.7 percent (14-for-21) from the free-throw line and recorded three assists, two blocks, and four steals.

During the 2011-12 season as a whole, Sowell led the team in points per game (14.3) and rebounds per game (10.2), averaging a double-double over the season. She recorded 18 double-doubles during the season, tied for 10th in NCAA Division I rankings. She finished with 28 assists, 18 blocks, 43 steals, and 458 total points.  She shot 56.6 percent from the field, fifth in NCAA Division I rankings, and 73.4 percent from the free-throw line.
