Due to the forecast for rain over the weekend in the Los Angeles area, the collegiate softball games between Seattle University and Loyola Marymount University scheduled for Saturday, Mar. 17 and Sunday, Mar. 18 have been cancelled. The games will not be rescheduled.
Seattle University will next travel to Boise, Idaho to compete in the SpringHill Suites Invitational #2 on Thursday, Mar. 22 - Saturday, Mar. 24. They will play a doubleheader versus Boise State at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Mar. 22, and back-to-back games versus UT San Antonio and New Mexico the next two days, starting at 11 a.m. on Friday, Mar. 23 and 9 a.m. on Saturday, Mar. 24.
The next home games for the Redhawks will be doubleheaders versus Utah Valley on Apr. 14-15, starting at 12 p.m. both days. Though these games are considered home games, they will be played at an off-campus location TBD, as Logan Field will begin reconstruction in late March to be completed by fall 2012.
