Due to the accumulation of rain that has already fallen and the forecast for more precipitation as well as windy conditions throughout the day, the collegiate baseball game between Seattle University and the University of Connecticut scheduled for Monday, March 12, at Bannerwood Stadium in Bellevue has been cancelled.
The game will not be rescheduled, as UConn is returning to the East Coast after participating in the NIKE Showcase in Oregon over the weekend.
Seattle University will next play BYU in a doubleheader in Provo, Utah, Saturday, March 17, starting at 1 p.m. local time (12 p.m. Pacific time). The games will be broadcast by BYU TV. The next home game for the Redhawks is Friday, March 30, against Northern Colorado starting at 6 p.m. at Bannerwood Stadium.
