The Seattle University women's tennis team was voted the number two team in the Great West Conference Friday in a poll of the conference's coaches.
Seattle U received 30 points in all, including one first-place vote. The New Jersey Institute of Technology was voted the top team in the conference, receiving the other five first-place votes and 35 total points.
Texas-Pan American took third with 19 points, North Dakota was fourth with 18, and Chicago State and CSU-Bakersfield tied for fifth with 12 points apiece.
The Seattle U women's tennis team returns to action next weekend with a trip to Utah. The Redhawks play at Weber State Friday, March 2nd at 8:00 a.m. and at Utah State at 9:00 a.m. the next day.
