The Redhawks won the match entirely in singles play, taking five of the six singles points available. In the second singles position, Katrina Schwab (Spokane, Wash.) took down Weber State's Ashley Tanner in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1 to earn her second singles victory of the spring. At number one singles, Alexandra Farrar (La Quinta, Calif.) dispatched Brittiny Moore, 6-2, 6-2, to continue the Redhawks' romp through singles play.

Warwick stormed back in the second set, however, forcing a tiebreak in which Lambert came out ahead, 7-5. The final score of the match was 6-0, 7-6 (7-5).
