Woodward is coming off a milestone season, where she earned her 200th career coaching victory and further cemented her legacy in the Seattle U Athletics record books. She currently boasts an all-time 205-80-26 record and a .701 winning percentage, and is the winningest female coach and the No. 5 winningest coach in a single sport at Seattle U. Woodward just completed her 15th season at the helm of the Redhawk women's soccer program, amassing 14 winning seasons, including a 12-6-1 overall record in 2011.
This year Woodward was ranked by the NCAA in both the Division I and II coaching record books. Entering the 2011 season, among active coaches with less than five years of experience at the DI level, she is No. 2 in victories and is the No. 5 winningest coach. She also is the No. 19 winningest coach among active DII coaches.

Four former Seattle U affiliates have won the Sports Star of the Year award: John O'Brien (1952), Pat Lesser Harbottle (1955), Elgin Baylor (1958) and Bill Fenton (1973).
