Collegiate Consulting and Hands On Sports have named the general manager and assistant general manager that will be working on athletics ticket sales and services within the Seattle University athletics offices in the O'Brien Center for Athletic Administration.
"Collegiate Consulting has selected two experienced and enthusiastic ticket sales professionals to lead our team," Mike Hermann, associate athletic director for external affairs, said. "It's critical to have proper leadership in place as we launch this partnership, and I have great confidence in the team that has been put in place. I know they will develop exciting and new strategies to build our fan base, which is critical at this important time in our history."
Brandy Flaherty brings many years of experience within athletics ticket sales to the general manager position. Flaherty was previously an account manager with the Seattle Mariners since December 2005, and she has also worked within other professional baseball organizations such as the Eugene Emeralds, the Lancaster JetHawks, and the Lake Elsinore Storm. She is a graduate of Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sport management.
"I am very excited to be a part of the Seattle University athletics program. The energy building around the men's basketball team is contagious, and I cannot wait to see what this group can do throughout this season along with the move into the Western Athletic Conference next year. This is a special opportunity, and I am honored to be on board at this critical time, right when the program is taking off," Flaherty said.
Jeremy Hansen also joins the staff as the assistant general manager. Hansen comes to this position after serving as a senior account executive with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes for one year and as an account executive with the Spokane Chiefs for a little over two years. Hansen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Gonzaga University.
