The Redhawks combined to shoot 305 (+17) in the third round to end the tournament in 13th place with a final score of 916 (+52). Baylor held off Idaho by one stroke to win the team title with a final score of 860 (-4), while Kayla Mortellaro of Idaho and Jaclyn Jansen of Baylor tied for individual medalist honors at five-under-par 211.
Caitlin McCleary (The Dalles, Ore.) shot 77 (+5) in Wednesday's round to end the week in a tie for 33rd place with a 54-hole total of 225 (+9). For the second time in three days, Monica Keo (Oahu, Hawaii) shot 75 (+3) to end the tournament in a tie for 49th place with a cumulative score of 230 (+14).
Lori Pearson (Seattle, Wash.) posted her best round of the three-day tournament, shooting 76 (+4) to finish in a tie for 52nd place with a final score of 231 (+15). Nicole Gaddie (Salt Lake City, Utah) shot 77 (+5) for the second consecutive day to finish in a tie for 56th place at 233 (+17), and Shannon Quinn (Shoreline, Wash.) finished in a tie for 74th place with a final score of 239 (+23) after a third-round 78 (+6).
Wednesday's round concluded the fall portion of the 2011-12 schedule for the Seattle U women's golf team. McCleary highlighted the fall by winning two tournaments (Circling Raven Invitational, Firestone Grill Invitational), while the team finished seventh out of 22 teams at Circling Raven and second at the Firestone Grill Invitational.
The Seattle University women's golf team is scheduled to play five tournaments in the spring, beginning with the Red Rocks Invitational hosted by Northern Arizona in Sedona, Ariz., March 3-4. The spring season will conclude for the Redhawks at the West Coast Conference Championships at San Juan Oaks Golf Club in Hollister, Calif., April 16-18.
