The Seattle University women's golf team remains in 12th place after playing the second round Tuesday of the Price's "Give 'Em Five" Intercollegiate, hosted by New Mexico State at the NMSU Golf Course.

The Redhawks combined for a second-round score of 308 (+20) for a two-round total of 611 (+35), seven strokes behind 11th-place UC Irvine, but eight strokes ahead of 13th-place Boise State. Baylor shot two-under-par 286 to take the lead in the team standings by two strokes over Idaho.

Caitlin McCleary (The Dalles, Ore.) continues to lead the team, shooting four-over-par 76 to end the day in a tie for 23rd place with a 36-hole total of 148 (+4). Lori Pearson (Seattle, Wash.) and Monica Keo (Oahu, Hawaii) are in a tie for 56th place with a two-round total of 155 (+11) after Pearson shot 78 (+6) in the second round and Keo posted a second-round total of 80 (+8).

Both Nicole Gaddie (Salt Lake City, Utah) and Shannon Quinn (Shoreline, Wash.) shot 77 (+5) in the second round, an improvement from each player's first round score. Gaddie is tied for 60th place with a cumulative score of 156 (+12), while Quinn is tied for 78th place with a 36-hole total of 161 (+17).

The third and final round of the tournament will take place Wednesday, Oct. 12. That will conclude the fall season for the Seattle University women's golf team.
