The Seattle University women's soccer team will host their annual Kicks for Breast Cancer game this Sunday, Oct. 9, benefitting the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Puget Sound. The Redhawks, who play Hawaii at 1 p.m., are encouraging all attendees to wear pink in honor of breast cancer awareness.

The program will be honoring individuals who have battled breast cancer throughout the afternoon, beginning with a special pregame ceremony honoring survivors. Attendees will also be able to honor survivors and those who have passed away from breast cancer on a memorial wall set up on the Championship Field plaza.

Two dollars from every ticket sold will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, along with outright donations and proceeds from face stickers, ribbons, bracelets and t-shirts sold. In addition, SU will host a raffle for numerous prizes, including a signed Seattle Sounders FC jersey and a Lululemon technical jacket.

The Hui O'Nana Hawaiian Club will also be performing at halftime to recognize the 50th year anniversary of their luau and the Redhawk women's soccer team will conclude the day by hosting a youth clinic following the match.
