McCleary started the day with an even-par 72 and followed that with a round of three-over-par 75 to finish the day in second place with a cumulative score of 147 (+3), five shots behind tournament leader Rochelle Chan of Long Beach State. Quinn shot 74 (+2) in the morning round and 76 (+4) in the afternoon circuit for a 36-hole total of 150 (+6), good enough for a tie for third place.

Nicole Gaddie (Salt Lake City, Utah) posted a first-round score of 81 (+9) and a second-round total of 84 (+12) for a cumulative score of 165 (+21) to end the day in a tie for 55th place. Christine Cook (Yakima, Wash.) is in a tie for 69th place after rounds of 82 (+10) and 88 (+16) led to a two-round total of 170 (+26).

Lori Pearson (Seattle, Wash.) shot 82 (+10) in the first round and 92 (+20) in the second round for a cumulative total of 174 (+30), landing her in 74th place. Playing as an individual, Michelle Grome (Edmonds, Wash.) is in 77th place with a 36-hole score of 184 (+40) after rounds of 89 (+17) and 95 (+23).

As a team, Seattle U combined for a score of 309 (+21) in the first round, but struggled in the windy conditions of the afternoon and posted a second-round total of 323 (+35). The two-round score of 632 (+56) landed the Redhawks in a tie for ninth place with Hawaii in the team standings, but still only nine strokes out of the top five. Long Beach State leads the team tournament with a cumulative score of 597 (+21), 10 strokes ahead of Fresno State.

The third and final round will take place Tuesday, with players teeing off from the first and 10th holes beginning at 8 a.m.
