Seattle
University athletics student support group REDZONE hosted a successful 2011-12
kickoff rally Wednesday. In front of nearly 300 students in the Connolly Center,
REDZONE, SU's cheer and dance teams, and mascot Rudy the Redhawk got the crowd
pumped up for another exciting year of Redhawk athletic competition.
Both new and returning students got into the Seattle U spirit, learning cheers, the new REDZONE pledge and Spirithawk traditions. All in attendance participated in a variety of games and raffles for various prize packs.
Students who want to join REDZONE can go to the ASSU office in Student Center 360 to sign up. Membership costs $5 and includes a REDZONE t-shirt, sticker and tons of perks throughout the year.
