Seattle University has formed a relationship with Collegiate Consulting, and its partner Hands On Sports (HOS), to manage ticket sales and service responsibilities. In a multi-year agreement, Collegiate Consulting will manage Seattle U's athletics ticket sales with a full-time, professional outbound sales staff headquartered in the Redhawks athletic offices.

Athletic Director Bill Hogan announced in a statement that the relationship will provide the school with a broader reach and enhance its ability to grow ticket revenues and attendance.

"We believe the opportunity to work with Collegiate Consulting and HOS will increase ticket sales, strengthen our relationships and provide us a foundation of strong financial support as we transition into the WAC," Hogan said. "The Collegiate Consulting model enables us to service more fans and expand our reach in a competitive marketplace."

Seattle U, which will join the Western Athletic Conference July 1, 2012, rejoined Division I in 2008, after a nearly 30-year hiatus spent at the NAIA and NCAA Division II levels.

"We are looking forward to beginning the partnership with Seattle University with our transitional staff on-site currently and our full-time staff set to begin in early October," said Collegiate Consulting Managing Director Russell Wright. "Intercollegiate athletics has never been bigger, but today's market is more competitive than ever, especially in an urban setting such as Seattle University. Our model is to develop a fan-focused, experience driven philosophy which complements the marketing and development efforts of the athletics department."

Collegiate Consulting will hire a staff of four, including a general manager and assistant general manager, to support Seattle U's ticket sales efforts.

Collegiate Consulting and Hands On Sports offers schools complete ticket sales and customized revenue solutions ranging from consulting to comprehensive outsourcing. Seattle University marks the second institution, following Bowling Green State University, to sign with Collegiate Consulting and Hands On Sports in the past four months to outsource their ticket sales and service. In the past five years, Collegiate Consulting has completed ticketing and marketing projects for the University of Missouri - Kansas City, UC Riverside, Florida Gulf Coast University and Jacksonville State.
