The Seattle University golf program, in association with Friends of Riverstone Residential Group, is sponsoring the 2011 Seattle U Golf Team Benefit, set to take place Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Inglewood Country Club in Kenmore, Wash.
The 18-hole golf tournament and cocktail party will benefit the Seattle U men's and women's golf teams as they, along with 15 other Redhawk teams, prepare to enter the Western Athletic Conference July 1, 2012. Lunch is included, and the cocktail party will begin as soon as the scramble-format golf tournament is concluded. Registration will begin at 10 a.m., with a putting contest at 11:30 a.m. and the shotgun start to the tournament at 1 p.m.
The entry fee for the golf tournament and party is $250 per person, or $1,000 per foursome. For Seattle University students, faculty, staff, and alumni, the cost to play is $175 per person or $700 per foursome. There are also sponsorship opportunities which will benefit the Redhawk golf program.
