The Seattle University baseball program will celebrate the past and start working towards the future on the same day, hosting the Spring Swing fundraising golf tournament and the team banquet Friday, June 3, at Glen Acres Golf & Country Club.
The golf tournament will kick off the day, with registration at 1:30 p.m. and a shotgun start to the four-person scramble at 2:30 p.m. Money raised in the golf tournament will benefit the baseball program in many ways, including scholarships, recruiting, and the 2013 goodwill international trip. The entry fee of $125 per player includes greens fees, range balls, dinner at the team banquet, and beverages.
Later that night, the 2011 baseball team and coaching staff will celebrate its recently completed season at the annual team banquet, also being held at Glen Acres. The no-host reception begins at 6:00 p.m., with dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. Cost for the banquet alone is $50 per person.
