Caitlin McCleary (The Dalles, Ore.) endured two tough holes, but still finished with a 77 (+5) to end the tournament in a tie for 13th place with a final score of 224 (+8). Shannon Quinn (Shoreline, Wash.) notched the team's best round of the day, posting a final-round score of 74 (+2) to move up into a tie for 42nd place in the final standings with a cumulative score of 233 (+17).
Christine Cook (Yakima, Wash.) finished her final 18 holes with a score of 81 (+9) for a three-round total of 237 (+21), good enough for a tie for 56th place. Lori Pearson (Seattle, Wash.) finished the tournament in a tie for 76th place after a third-round 82 (+10) gave her a total score of 242 (+26), and Nicole Gaddie (Salt Lake City, Utah) shot 85 (+13) in the final round for a three-round total of 259 (+43) to finish in 114th place.
As a team, Seattle University combined for a third round score of 314 (+26), slipping down to 14th place in the final standings with a 54-hole total of 936 (+72). Portland State completed a wire-to-wire first place finish with a combined score of 871 (+7), 28 strokes better than second-place New Mexico State. Britney Yada of Portland State won the individual title on a scorecard playoff after finishing the tournament tied with Northern Colorado's Carleigh Silvers at three-under-par 213.
Seattle University will prepare for the West Coast Conference Championships, to take place April 18-19 at the San Juan Oaks Country Club in Hollister, Calif. Seattle U is an associate member of the WCC in women's golf only, as the conference extended the invitation to the Redhawk women's golf program last summer.
