The Redhawks' one run came in the second inning when Theresa Clark (Lakewood, Colo.) led off with a single, advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt, took third on a Hilltopper error, and scored on a wild pitch. Clark reached base three times during the game with two hits as well as a hit-by-pitch.
The contest against Wichita State was postponed in the middle of the fifth inning due to darkness. The game, tied at 2-2, will resume at 10:45 a.m. tomorrow morning.
