The Seattle U baseball team kicked off official team practices Friday, Jan. 28, in preparation for the 2011 season. The Redhawks will be competing in their second season after being reinstated as a varsity sport in 2008.
Seattle U will open the 2011 season at Cal State Northridge in a four-game weekend series from Feb. 18-20. The Redhawks will host their home opener on Feb. 25 against Notre Dame at Everett Memorial Stadium starting at 6 p.m., with the other two games of the weekend series to take place at Seattle U's normal home field, Bannerwood Park in Bellevue.
