"I am extremely excited for Kara to receive this honor," said head coach Julie Woodward. "She has had a tremendous career at Seattle U and has been a great representative of our program. She is the first player to be named to an all-region team, which shows the progression of our program through the reclassification process back to Division I."
The Washingtonian helped guide Seattle U to an 11-6-2 overall record, including a six-game unbeaten streak. On the season she started in all 19 contests, scoring four goals and making a pair of assists for 10 points.
Kuttler, a co-captain in 2010, was an integral part in the Redhawks transition from Division II to Division I over her four-year career. She played in 79 career matches, making 70 starts. She boasts 64 career points, behind 16 assists and a record-breaking 24 goals, with five of them being game-winners.
