Second season head women's basketball coach Joan Bonvicini participated in The Salvation Army's annual celebrity bell ringing event Tuesday afternoon. The event partners with local celebrities to raise money for initiatives in King County. Bonvicini was joined by athletes, coaches, media personalities and more, in front of the downtown Nordstrom store on Pine Street encouraging fans to donate money in the donation kettles.
Bonvicini was joined by several local personalities, including: the Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll and player Lawyer Milloy, Washington head football coach Steve Sarkisian and Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon, among others.
