Seattle University Announces ?Take A Kid to the Game? Day

The Redhawk men's basketball team will host youth event at KeyArena on December 11th.

SEATTLE, WASH – Seattle University invites all kids to come out and partake in Take a Kid to the Game Day at KeyArena on Saturday, December 11th. Come out and cheer on the Redhawks as they square off with the Vandals of Idaho and enjoy your opportunity to experience Division I college basketball. All kids aged fourteen and under will receive free admission to the game when accompanied by a ticketed adult.

“We encourage you to save the date. Seattle University is excited about this event where kids from the local community will have a chance to be apart of our game day experience and support NCAA Basketball’s Take A Kid to the Game program,” said Seattle University Director of Athletics Bill Hogan. “This game day experience is an opportunity for the children to spend quality time with a parent or role model and learn about sportsmanship that can be demonstrated on and off the field of play.”

Seattle University will host one of more than 700 games to be played across the nation as part of the Take A Kid to the Game program, now in its 14th season with men’s basketball. NCAA Basketball is a national sponsor of the grassroots initiative to encourage alumni and fans to take kids to intercollegiate athletic events.

Tickets for this special event will be made available on the day of the game and must be purchased at the KeyArena Box Office located at the venue’s east entrance.
