Sunshine Jewelry and the Seattle University athletics department present the First Annual Timothy Gabutero Baseball Scholarship Benefit, to take place Saturday, Nov. 6, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Sunshine Jewelry, located in Pike Place Market.
Everyone is invited to join Margaret Gabutero, Tim's widow and owner of Sunshine Jewelry, for this event held in memory of her husband, a former Seattle U baseball player who became a respected college basketball official before passing away in July 2008.
Supporters are encouraged to "Shop 'til you drop" at Sunshine Jewelry on Nov. 6, and 50% of all purchases will go to Timothy's Annual Baseball Scholarship fund For an optional eight dollar ($8) donation, one will receive food, wine and assorted beverages, as well as raffle tickets for hourly prizes including a beautiful $400 gemstone globe, jewelry, wine, and much more.
Those who are unable to attend this event are encouraged to shop online at www.sunshinepikeplace.com on Saturday, Nov. 6, and 50% of those proceeds will also go to this scholarship fund.
