Seattle University softball player Megan MacIsaac (Santa Barbara, Calif.) was named Pacific Coast Softball Conference Player of the Week for the Mountain Division. The conference recognized the senior shortstop following her standout performance on the road at Utah Valley.

"Megan has been coming around the last month of the season and she had a great week against UVU," said head coach Dan Powers. "She hit the ball well and made every play at shortstop for us. I am happy to see her finish her career on a high note as we fight for the inaugural PCSC Mountain title!"

At Utah Valley, she was 7-for-13, behind seven RBIs, four runs, two doubles, a home run and a walk. In the series opening game on Apr. 23, she was 2-for-4, with a pair of RBIs. In the second game of the doubleheader, she was 1-for-2 with an RBI. The following day, she was 3-for-4 with four RBIs, two runs, a home run and a double in the early game. She closed out her outstanding weekend, going 1-for-3, with two runs, a double and a walk. .

On the year, MacIsaac has tallied 30 hits, 19 runs, 15 RBIs, 13 walks, three doubles, two triples and two home runs. She is sporting a .286 batting average and a .941 fielding percentage.

The senior infielder and the Redhawks will close out the home-half of the 2010 schedule with Northern Colorado. SU will play a four game series with the Bears on May 1 and 2. First pitch is slated for noon and 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Prior to Sunday's game, Seattle U will recognize the graduating senior class.
