The Seattle University softball team will take their first Pacific Coast Softball Conference road trip this weekend. The Redhawks (6-24-1, 2-2 PCSC) will square off with Weber State (1-31, 1-4 PCSC) in a two day four game series in Ogden, Utah. SeattleU will kick off the road trip on Friday, Apr. 16, with a doubleheader slated for 1 p.m. PT. The following day, SU will close out the series with a final pair of games. First pitch is set for 11 a.m. PT.

"We are looking forward to carrying the momentum from this past weekend on the road," said head coach Dan Powers. "The bottom half of the lineup is doing well as of late and hopefully that will carry throughout the lineup. We are getting hot at this point in the season which is great as we go deeper into conference play."

Last Time Out: In their PCSC home opening series, the Redhawks split with Idaho State 2-2. After going undefeated in both games on day one, SeattleU was unable to carry that momentum and sweep the series. On Apr. 10, SU defeated ISU 13-3 and 11-9, but were edged twice on Apr. 11, 8-7 and 5-4. SeattleU was led by conference Player of the Week Sandra Hernandez, who tallied three home runs, including a grand slam, and nine RBIs throughout the weekend.
