NJIT (16-6) clinched the doubles point when the number one team of Diego Abreu and Carl Lundquist pulled out a 9-7 victory over Kanehira and Mark Shkretbtan (Redmond, Wash.). The Highlanders went on to win the top three singles matches, all in straight sets, to clinch the match.
