Up Next for the Redhawks: The Seattle University softball team will remain on the road with three sets of doubleheaders this week. They will resume action after over a week off at Oregon (20-5) on Thursday, Mar. 25, in Eugene, Ore. at 3 p.m. The Redhawks will remain in Oregon, traveling to Corvallis to square off with the Beavers of Oregon State (13-14) at noon. Concluding their road swing, SU will head north to British Columbia to take on the Simon Fraser Clan (8-4) in a 1 p.m. game.

"After a strenuous week of finals we hope to get back into the swing of things on our trip to UO, OSU and SFU this coming week," said head coach Dan Powers. "Our players have had time to rest up physically and I'm looking for more of the same effort we've had our last seven games. We just need some timely hitting to break into the win column more often."

"We will have our hands full with four more Pac-10 opponent games but if we play with sound fundamentals we will compete," Powers concluded.

They also remained competitive versus No. 1 Washington, falling 5-1 on Mar. 13, and 8-3 on Mar. 14. SU opened up the weekend with Miami (Ohio) on Mar. 13, with a 2-0 loss.
