The Seattle University men's tennis team responded to its early wakeup call Saturday morning, sweeping Colorado Christian University, 9-0, at the Lakewood Park Tennis Courts.
All of the SeattleU singles players posted straight-set victories, losing at most two games in the two sets, with Patrick Boorkman (Bellevue, Wash.) earning a shutout in the number four singles position. The three doubles sets were also controlled by the Redhawks, with victories of 8-2, 8-3, and 8-3.
Seattle University (4-9) concludes its weekend in Colorado with a neutral-site match against Saint Peter's College of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Sunday, March 14, beginning at 9 a.m. local time in Colorado Springs, Colo.
