The University of Washington took care of business Friday night, sweeping past Seattle University in men's tennis action, 7-0, at the Sammamish Club.

The closest singles match for Seattle University came in the number six position, as Adam Strizich (Helena, Mont.) stayed with Washington's Nick Tchernikov before a break in the 12th game of each set allowed Tchernikov to post a straight-set victory (7-5, 7-5).

Seattle University (3-5) is not scheduled to compete again for three weeks, when the team heads back to Portland, Ore., March 5-6 for matches against University of Portland, Portland State, and Weber State.
