Seattle University head baseball coach Donny Harrel has announced that tickets are on sale for the "Meet The Redhawks" Dinner and Auction, to take place Saturday, Feb. 13, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Evergreen Ballroom on 6th Avenue in downtown Seattle.

Everyone who buys a ticket to the baseball dinner and auction will also receive a ticket to that afternoon's men's basketball game between Seattle University and Sacramento State at KeyArena at Seattle Center. Proceeds from the dinner and auction will go towards the SeattleU baseball program, about to begin its first season of competition in over two decades.

The evening will begin with a social hour and silent auction from 4-5 p.m., followed by the start of the formal program at 5 p.m. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m., with the live auction to begin after dinner. Donations are still being accepted by the baseball program for both the silent and live auctions.

Tickets for the dinner and auction are $35 per person and can be purchased by contacting the Seattle University athletic department at (206) 398-4420. Seats for the dinner can also be reserved by e-mailing Greg Sempadian at sempadig@seattleu.edu. Potential attendees are asked to reserve their seats by Tuesday, Feb. 9.

The Seattle University baseball team returns to competition for the first time in about 25 years with a series at Washington State Feb. 20-21. The first home game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 23, against Saint Martin's at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue starting at 4 p.m.
