Following Coe's goal, UCSB evened the score at one-all at the 31:13 minute mark. Kuttler responded with the go-ahead goal seven minutes later to close out the first half with a 2-1 lead.

After a scoreless first overtime period, Kuttler drove in the ball off an Alicia Malstrom assist for the golden goal in double overtime. With the goal, Kuttler broke into the top-10 all-time goal scorers in SeattleU history with 20.
