The start time for the men's basketball game on January 1, 2009, between Seattle University and Loyola Marymount at KeyArena has been changed from 7:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to accomodate Fox Sports Northwest, which plans to show the historic game live.
This will be Seattle University's first home game as a Division I school against a Division I opponent in almost 29 years. Tickets for the game are on sale through Ticketmaster by clicking here.
The January 1 game is one of two Fox Sports Northwest is scheduled to broadcast during the 2008-09 season involving the Seattle University men's basketball team. Three days before the KeyArena game, the Redhawks will face Oregon State Monday, Dec. 29, in Corvallis, Ore., beginning at 7 p.m.
The Seattle University men's basketball faces Point Loma Nazarene in an exhibition game Friday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. at the Connolly Center. The first regular season game is Saturday, Nov. 15, against Chico State in the Elgin Baylor Classic beginning at 4 p.m.
