Four Seattle University women's soccer team members were named to the Governor's Cup All-Tournament team after their performances over the weekend in Moscow, Idaho. Seniors Madison Collins (Boise, Idaho) and Maria Madeira (Canby, Ore.) were joined by sophomore forward Kara Kuttler (Redmond, Wash.) and freshman goalkeeper Madison Goverde (Snohomish, Wash.) on the team.

The foursome helped lead Seattle University to the Governor's Cup championship with wins over tournament host Idaho and WAC member Boise State. Madeira was part of Seattle Univeristy's defense, which allowed only seven shots, two on goal, during the tournament. Kuttler led the way in shots for the Redhawks taking nine shots in total, seven of which were on goal, while Collins added a shot in eah game. Goverde was big between the pipes for SU coming up with her second career shutout in the first game against Idaho.

SU will return to action on Wednesday September 17 as they travel to Pullman, Wash. to take on the Cougars of Washington State University at 2 p.m.
