On Saturday, May 10, KING 5, an NBC affiliate located in Seattle, ran a story during its newscast focusing on Seattle University's move to become a Division I member of the NCAA.
The story, reported on by KING-5 reporter Chris Daniels live from Championship Field, included footage from Saturday's track meet at Husky Stadium as well as from a men's basketball game during the 2007-08 season. Robert Kelly, Vice President for Student Development, was interviewed for the piece.
