On Tuesday, March 4, the Seattle University softball team hosted a softball clinic for members of the Seattle PONY Fastpitch League, a youth organization for girls ages 9-14 who are interested in learning about the game of fastpitch softball.
The SU softball players, dressed in their game uniforms, split the young girls into several groups around Logan Field and gave them tips on hitting, pitching, and fielding. Click on the photo gallery link above to see images from the clinic.
This activity is one of many undertaken by the Seattle University athletic department as it follows the university's mission of educating the whole person to become a leader in a just and humane world.
