Senior pitcher Erin Martin (, ) pitched out of bases-loaded situations without giving up a run in each of the first two innings, allowing the offense to provide enough run support to give the 13th-ranked Redhawks a 4-1 victory over Cal State San Bernardino Thursday afternoon at .

Picking up her 12th victory of the season without a loss, Martin uncharacteristically gave up four walks, three of them in the first two innings as Cal State San Bernardino loaded the bases twice. The Redhawks continued to produce runs in the fifth inning, as Katie Antich () and Petersen each singled and stole second base. After MacIsaac reached on a fielder’s choice and stole her second base of the game, Berin’s fly ball to center field allowed Petersen to score, and Jane Purdy () followed with a single to center field that plated MacIsaac.

Once again, Cal State San Bernardino (21-20-1) loaded the bases in the sixth inning, this time breaking up Martin’s shutout thanks to a sacrifice fly by Jordan Dahl that scored Tori Beaudette. ’s defense ended any further thought of a Coyote rally when catcher Jessica Amador () caught Debbie Shisler stealing to end the sixth inning, and Martin struck out the final two Coyote batters in the seventh inning to end the game.
