A couple of days after the end of the 2007-08 season, the Seattle University men's basketball team paid a visit to Children's Hospital in Seattle to visit the young patients and spend some time helping make their day a little better.
Children's Hospital was one of the sponsors of the radio and Internet broadcasts of Seattle University men's basketball on KKNW during this past year, and the coaching staff and players decided to thank the hospital by making this trip to hopefully put smiles on the faces of children who are dealing with medical conditions that can be tough to understand.
The players and coaches who made the trip played games or just spent time talking with the young patients, about basketball or school or anything else that was on the young person's mind. The photo gallery above links to several pictures from the trip.
This continues the Seattle University's athletic department's commitment to helping the community and asking the student-athletes to follow the university's mission of "empowering leaders for a just and humane world."
