Coldren shot 9-of-17 from the field on his way to a career-high 23 points, plus he pulled down seven rebounds and dished out three assists. One night after hitting five three-pointers, Knight made four more in scoring 16 points, as he and Coldren were named to the All-Tournament Team. Leigh Swanson () contributed nine points and seven rebounds.
Grayson Moyer, the MVP of the tournament, led (7-2) with 18 points, seven rebounds, and four assists, while Sheufelt contributed 15 points, three rebounds, three assists, and five steals to the winning effort. The Lumberjacks were able to earn the victory despite losing leading scorer Devin Peal to a thumb injury right before halftime.
(6-1) stays in next weekend, heading across town to the Royal Brougham Pavilion to participate in Seattle Pacific’s Oak Harbor Freightlines Classic. SeattleU faces Alderson-Broaddus Friday, Dec. 28 and Concordia College of New York Saturday, Dec. 29, with both games scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
