The Seattle University Men’s Basketball team won for the second consecutive night at the Notre Dame de Namur Thanksgiving tournament, this time defeating 79-60. The win improves ’s record to 4-0 with all four wins coming against regional competition from the state of .

jumped out to a quick lead, scoring the first nine points of the game. The Redhawks built their first half lead to as many as 18 when a Michael Wright (Lakewood, Wash.) layup gave Seattle a 24-6 lead with 11:50 to go in the half.

guards Ricky Berry (, ) and Shaun Burl (, ) led the way with scoring 13 points in the half, including two 3-pointers and Burl chipping in nine points on a perfect 3-3 from the field and 2-2 from the foul line.

Overall Seattle shot 50 percent (11-22) from the field in the half, while holding San Francisco State to just 30.8 percent (8-26).

was led by Alex Thomas with 14 points and Robert Hays with 12. The Gators stayed in the game by connecting on 7-14 from 3-point range in the second half.
