Five players scored in double figures and the men’s basketball team shot 66.7 percent from the field in the second half to pull away from ninth-ranked Humboldt State, 92-80, Friday night in the second game of the Elgin Baylor Tipoff Classic at the .

Sophomore Ricky Berry () led the way with a career-high 18 points, hitting three shots from behind the three-point line and capping the victory with a dunk in the final minute. Leigh Swanson (, ) scored 17 points and also earned three steals, and Mike Boxley () also reached a career high with 14 points on 4-of-5 shooting from the field and 5-of-8 shooting from the free throw line.
