Seattle Swim Coach Craig Mallery honored for Outstanding Coaching Achievement

Craig Mallery was honored with a Certificate of Excellence for Outstanding Coaching Achievement in the United States of America by the American Swimming Coaches Association. Mallery received the award after leading Seattle University back to the NCAA Division II National Championships.

Seattle Swim Coach Craig Mallery honored for Outstanding Coaching Achievement

Craig Mallery was honored with a Certificate of Excellence for Outstanding Coaching Achievement in the by the American Swimming Coaches Association. Mallery received the award after leading back to the NCAA Division II National Championships.

The American Swimming Coaches Association has annually recognized the coaching excellence of its members with this Award since the 1970’s.

Mallery led the men’s swim team to a ninth place finish at the 2007 national meet. The team had several all-Americans, both individually and in relays.

Anna Vanha of the women’s team also qualified for nationals and swam in several events under Mallery’s coaching.

Mallery is back again this season for , trying to lead his swim teams back to the NCAA Division II nationals for a final time, before moves to Division I next season.
