Seattle Runner’s perform well at the BCC Cross Country Invite
Three Redhawks race at
Three cross country runners ran at the BCC Cross Country Invite at on Saturday, Oct. 20. With most of the team at the GNAC Championships did not have scoring teams, instead allowing runners to run as individuals.
On the women’s side, Haley McGoldrick was ’s top finisher by placing 31st in a 5k time of 20:58. Also competing for the women was Tiffany Hunter who finished 53rd with a time of 22:01.
The men’s lone runner was Andrew Wilburn who finished 98th with an 8k time of 31:18. Wilburn was joined by assistant coach Uli Steidl in the race. Uli, the eight time marathon champion, won the race with a time of 25:03.
’s next race will be the NCAA West Regional meet in on Nov. 3. The race will be both the men’s and women’s teams chance to qualify for nationals as team or as individuals.
