Members of the Seattle cross country teams competed Saturday morning at the Sundodger Inviational at Lincoln Park in Seattle at a meet hosted by the University of Washington. With most of the team competing Friday in Portland, Seattle did not field scoring teams.

On the men’s side, Seattle had just two runners competing. They were led by Adam Kollgaard (Kent, Wash.) who finished 106th. Also, competing was Chris Henry (Seattle, Wash.) who was racing for the first time this season after missing last week with a knee injury. He battled through pain to finish 181st.
John Riak of Saint Martin's won the men's open race, while Spokane Community College won the race as a team.
The top seven runners from both the Seattle men’s and women’s teams will be back together in two weeks when they travel to Salem, Ore. to compete in the Charles Bowles Invitational on Sept. 29 at 9 a.m. The meet is hosted by Willamette University.
