First, I want to thank you for visiting us at our new home on the internet, GoSeattleU.com. We are so thrilled about our new place to connect (as a Seattle U community) on the web.
As a university, we decided to make the move for several reasons, but the biggest among these is to have greater opportunity to share with you (our students, parents, alumni, fans, and prospective students) the many exciting things going on with Seattle U Athletics. When we say “share,” we basically are referring to new applications of multimedia technology such as Live Stats of all HOME contests; video access to exclusive interviews, profiles, and features; podcasts; and streaming audio and (eventually) streaming video of designated HOME contests.
In addition, you will be able to purchase exclusive NIKE team line through our Team Store and own all of your favorite action photos featured on the website through our partnership with Pictopia. These features will be available in the very near future (September 2007).
Launching a site this extensive is a large undertaking, as our Sports Information staff is working tirelessly to get everything up-to-speed. We hope you will make it a daily (online) stop. It is our plan to have a place, no matter physical location, for all of us to “share” in the Seattle U experience!
