Sullivan also competed in the Saturday afternoon session of the 400 meter hurdles, finishing 11th with a time of 54.99 seconds. He holds the Seattle University record in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 54.3 seconds, set on March 31 at the Club Northwest Spring Break Open in Edmonds, Wash. During the indoor track season, Sullivan set school records in the 60 meter dash (7.25 seconds) and as part of the 4x400 meter relay team (3:25.31), both record performances coming at the GNAC Indoor Track and Field Championships.

The freshman shares this week's conference honor with David Registe of Alaska Anchorage, who had the best long jump by a GNAC athlete in five years. Sullivan is the first Seattle University track athlete to win the conference's weekly honor since Kelly Fullerton was named Female Track Athlete of the Week on April 25, 2005.

Presently Brock Jahner (Kalispell, Mont.) is in Monmouth, Ore., competing in the decathlon at the GNAC Multi-Events Championships. The rest of the Seattle University track and field team heads to Bellingham, Wash., for the Western Washington Twilight Meet at Civic Stadium Friday, April 27, beginning at 3 p.m.
