Tournament Background:
The Seattle U men’s golf program will host the 10th annual Redhawk Invitational from April 1-2, 2024. The event has taken place at Chamber's Bay Golf Course in University Place, Washington, since its inaugural tournament.
The tournament has featured six different team champions in its history with San Francisco, UCLA and Washington each taking the title twice.
Idaho claimed the 2023 tournament with a one-over par combined score, while Jace Minni of Gonzaga shot the best three-round total (eight-under, 205) since 2019 for the medalist honors. The tournament’s 54-hole all-time low score was set in 2019 when UCLA shot 37-under par, while Hidetoshi Yoshihara set the individual 54-hole all-time low that same year at 13-under par.

In honor of Orrin Vincent:
The No. 1 player at SU during his collegiate career from 1963-67, Vincent earned team MVP honors in three straight seasons. He holds a career stroke average of 71.9, claiming medalist honors in 25 events. After SU, Vincent would play professionally for several years, winning the Sierra Nevada PGA Championship six times and the Ponce de Leon Open in 1971. A visionary in the golf industry, Vincent built OB Sports into one of the most highly respected and innovative management firms in the country. Vincent contributed to the men’s and women’s golf program, establishing the Orrin and Barbara Vincent Endowed Golf Scholarship. He is one of nine men’s golfers in the SU Hall of Fame.
